Academic exchange program in science project 2018 was initiated between Ritsumeikan Keisho Senior High School, Sapporo Kaisei Secondary School and International Christian University High School and Princess Chulabhorn Science high school Pathumthani. The objectives of this project are: 1) encourage students in using English to cooperate with foreign people on doing science project, 2) develop alternative coaching techniques for integrated students group with cooperation between Thai and Japanese teachers. The project was designed to contribute to the development of highly capable high school students for a short period of time, deepen exchange in the field of science and technology, and increase their interest in doing science project. At the beginning, Line group was used for topics and proposals discussion between all Thai and Japanese students and teachers. Some experiments and five project proposals are done as beforehand preparations. In Thailand, the six-day academic program was organized. To encourage students in doing science project, research institutes visiting and doing experiment in Physics and Chemistry experiments were performed to practice apparatus usage. As a results, five simple science projects were finished and two academic report were written from experimental results. Questionnaire analysis reveals that 100% of Thai students would like to continue doing science project with Japanese friends and some of them have motivation to study Japanese language. Also, it was revealed that most of Japanese students desired to have much more plenty time to be immersed into their experiments during program. Moreover, 100% of exchanged students had impressive experience in cooperative learning between Thai and Japanese students, while some of them trend to continue doing science project in a same or other topics. It can be implied that we can improve this toward global science educational method on which students learn to cooperate on science project, overcoming cultural and linguistic barriers. As a future study plan, we will practice likewise with other schools in different region to develop this method of cooperative project to a global exchange procedure in science field.
